Penny Rich is a British ceramic artist based on the Isle of Wight, a small Island in the South of England.
Using coastal nature as her inspiration she creates hand built decorative and functional work to treasure.

Penny Rich has been working with ceramics for over thirty years. Most recently she is best known for her striking hand built wall hangings and her beautiful little tea cups that make every day a special event.
Projects
Recent projects include a custom made hand built dinner service.
I make my work in my thatched cottage studio, pressing the soft clay into small organic shapes that I later thread together to form larger pieces.
Experiments
I’m always working on something new. Whether its using my mothers antique lace to imprint into soft clay or hunting the beaches for drift wood. My practice is always evolving.
